The GP Unique
It's hard to find a hotter hatchback than the GP Unique. It has big intakes, arch extension and a two-part rear wings. These are features normally reserved for French unicorns.
Thankfully, the GP Unique doesn't just look mean; it also feels fast. Its engine is smooth, powerful and its 332lb-ft torque is available with no hassle below 1,750rpm. It's also well matched with the smooth-shifting, six-speed automatic transmission. It's a shame the GP Unique doesn't have a manual option however Mini makes no bones about its emphasis on lap times and an auto is definitely the best option here.
But it's not without flaws. For starters the GP Unique's damping system is a bit firm, but it doesn't require much effort. If you drive straight and smooth B road, you can easily test the chassis's dynamic limits however, it's a challenge to stay fluid with your inputs. The front end becomes somewhat snatchy, and the car is unable to keep its course when it's under pressure from irregular British bumps.
When you dial into the GP Unique, its handling is exceptional. Its front end and body control remind us of the JCW racecar we drove last year. It's a blast to drive on a smooth road and when you are in a positive mood.
The car's chassis is distinct from the regular MT-09 thanks to its increased torsional rigidity and larger axles. The new GP has 24.7 degrees of rake and 108mm trail, which is much more on the front than the R6's - however, it also offers incredible stability in corners.
green scooter of GP is the PO Generator module. This lets you take a look at your on hand quantities as well as the min/max levels you've set for each item and any open POs from your suppliers (ie more inventory is coming in) and then generates a list of suggested purchase orders which you can forward to your suppliers.
green power scooter is Airoh’s lightest GP Helmet to date. It helps to reduce neck strain, fatigue, and improve safety by reducing pressure on the shoulders. The shell is aerodynamic and has a chin-curtain spoiler which improves aerodynamics and decreases wind buffeting. Its EQRS quick release system is similar to one found on most motorbike helmets that are designed for track, allowing emergency services to remove the helmet without disturbing the wearer's neck.
The GP500, like most modern helmets, is Snell and SHARP-certified. It is an SHARP 3-star rating. While this isn't the top rating, it's a good rating considering it has front to back and side impact protection.
I was very impressed with the quality of the image. The GP500 can project images that is up to 4K in excellent clarity. It also had very low input lag when both Game Mode and Fast Mode were turned on, as per BenQ's specifications published.
In terms of accuracy of color it was close to perfect with an DeltaE error of just 2.3 - which is very impressive. It also showed outstanding grayscale performance, with clear and distinct shades. The GP500 displayed subtle rainbow colors when watching the Adam Project. They were easy to spot, but did not interfere with the viewing experience.
The sound quality is amazing. The GP500 has an independent DSP chip onboard with treVolo Psychoacoustic Tuning that produces 3D audio effects. It has an internal quad-speaker layout which is located in every corner of the cabinet. This is designed to create a sound field that is immersive for every person regardless of their position in the room.
There are many options for connectivity, such as HDMI inputs 1 2, 3, as well an optical Toslink SPDIF to send native Dolby-Atmos bitstreams to an external sound bar. The GP500 has a pair of Type-A USB 2.0 ports to stream content, and it supports a 12-volt trigger for an electronic screen.

The GP 900
Sceptics may point out that the GP looks like a naked XSR900 dressed in a Wayne Rainey frock. But the truth is, Yamaha's designers worked their magic to design a genuinely ode to its rich sporting heritage. The GP's updated Deltabox frame and swingarm are both 55mm longer however it is more compact and planted in corners due to a modified chassis geometry. Meanwhile, a full-spec 6-axis IMU provides a range of electronic riding aids to the platform, while KYB suspension is upgraded with a larger front fork and a longer wheelbase.
The GP's fairing, which is asymmetrically designed, is a clever trick in its sleeve, with air vents positioned in the cowling, to lower pressure inside and to help disperse heat from the engine. This creates a more sleek appearance and helps reduce the bike's center of gravity. The GP's brand new colour TFT dashboard is also a welcome addition, showing messages and call notifications as well as the option to use Garmin StreetCross navigation and turn-by-turn directions (free for the first year).
The GP comes with three pre-set riding modes, and a custom setting that can be adjusted by the rider manually. A new suite of smartphone-connected tech is also included, with the GP having a Y-Connect application for integration with smartphones and media controls as in addition to cruise control and the introduction of a new USB Type C socket for gadget charging.
The GP 900 is a great machine with a sports heritage, but it also makes an excellent commuter or Sunday blaster. The 117bhp CP3 motor is extremely usable and has a wide range of power available at low revs. Even at speeds on the road, the GP's midrange power can easily recalculate your speed/time/distance calculations and completely eliminate Google Maps estimated time of arrival. The GP's chassis is equipped with the proper amount of stiffness - it's not as stiff as a R6 nor as light and agile like a TT500. It's an absolute blast to ride and is a real riot.
